Paul Escoute

CEO & Founder

Founder and Chief Executive of AWSE. Paul brings more than 20 years structuring, financing and leading large-scale infrastructure programmes across sub-Saharan Africa. At AWSE he leads feasibility studies, environmental & social assessments and tender documents for donor-financed water and infrastructure projects in Sierra Leone, and serves as the firm's interface with ministries and development finance institutions such as the World Bank and AfDB. He specialises in PPP and SPV structuring, project finance and IFC/ESG compliance, and works fluently in English and French.

Amara Bangura

Managing Director, West Africa

Managing Director for West Africa, based in Freetown. A Sierra Leonean leader with two decades in business development, public affairs and public–private partnerships, Amara holds AWSE's direct relationships with government ministries, utilities, regulators and partners across Sierra Leone, Guinea and the wider region. He anchors the firm's local presence and institutional access — the on-the-ground foundation that makes AWSE the partner international consortia rely on. He works in English, Krio and French.
