Feasibility, Design & Tender Support
Engineering studies are the core of what AWSE delivers. Across water and infrastructure, we take projects from first feasibility through detailed design and tender-ready documents — the studies backbone that international consortia and donors depend on to secure funding and reach financial close.
The large majority of our Sierra Leone track record consists of Feasibility Study Reports, detailed engineering design and tender documents for ministries, the road authority and water utilities.

Why it matters
Donor-financed programmes stand or fall on the quality of their studies. Rigorous feasibility, economically and technically sound design, and compliant tender documents are what convert an idea into a funded, buildable project — and what protect the client through procurement.
The study cycle
An eight-step sequence, applied end-to-end or on discrete phases, from first idea to signed contract.
Feasibility studies
Technical, economic and financial viability; options analysis; forecasting of demand and consumption; source reliability.
Preliminary & final design
Layouts, hydraulic and structural sizing, technical characteristics of the works.
Detailed engineering design & work drawings
Construction-ready design, technical specifications and Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
Cost estimates
Engineering cost estimates, including confidential estimates for the client.
Economic & financial analysis
Cost-benefit and economic viability, project risk analysis.
Environmental & social integration
ESIA / ESMP and safeguards embedded from the study stage — in coordination with our Safeguards practice.
Tender documents
International-standard procurement documents for services, works and supply.
Procurement support
Management of the tender process, bid evaluation, and support during negotiation and contracting.
Sectors we study
The same studies backbone, applied across the fields where AWSE delivers engineering.
